Easley knee pain is a pain that Young Chiropractic sees a lot. Pain meds and surgical procedures are commonly recommended while a new non-surgical chiropractic approach is supplying good results. Principles of Cox® Technic flexion distraction and decompression - a technique utilized in clinic all the time for Easley back pain and neck pain relief - were amended for use with knee pain. They proved successful in easing knee pain. Overall, the mean pain scores for knee pain patients dropped from 7.7 to 1.8 on a 10 point scale with 10 being the worst pain in a mean of 5.3 visits over 3 weeks. In particular, acute knee pain patients’ pain scores fell more dramatically from a mean of 8.1 to 1.1 in 4.8 treatments in 2.4 weeks. Chronic knee pain patients’ scores fell from 7.5 to 2.2 in 5.4 treatments in 3.3 weeks. No one in the study had any adverse side-effects. (1) It's gentle, relieving, and comfortable. We all can gain from stronger hip abductors, and Easley senior folks benefit even more. A recent article reports that people with chronic low back pain usually have hip abductor weakness, too.
